Our Story

S&A was founded in 1989 in Cleveland, Ohio USA, by Nipendra and Rita Singh, business and life partners. We started from ground zero and built this company into a global operation working with Fortune 500 companies. Our journey is a combination of working with small and family-owned businesses to national icons and global organizations, helping business executives to become better business leaders to lead their organizations forward. The foundation of our business is all about people, relationships with our clients, and the resources we have built over the years around the world. Our purpose is to always give our Absolute Best. NIPENDRA "NIP" P. SINGH

CHAIRMAN, CEO and Co-Founder

Nipendra [Nip] Singh is CEO and Co-Founder of S&A Consulting Group LLP, a worldwide leader in manufacturing technology consulting. Nip has decades of experience in high technology manufacturing business, primarily aircraft engine components. His experience is a broad combination of business profit/loss and technical activities which include management of production, sales, marketing, engineering, research and development, and material procurement services. He has consulted over the past thirty years for companies in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Under Nip’s leadership, S&A has led or assisted in several green field investment casting foundries within North America, Europe, and Asia. Also, he has been responsible in major updates of existing investment casting foundries in the aerospace, automotive and commercial casting sectors. Based on the personal experience in aerospace castings, Nip has assisted foundries to develop new processes and products and in most of the cases with overall cost reduction. Along with technology improvement, Mr. Singh has also developed markets for competing products and technologies to assist clients worldwide to expand markets.

Nip has served in various high-level managerial capacities at major players in the aerospace industry, including Rolls Royce Casting plant, GE Engines, TRW Corporation, and Precision Castparts Corporation [PCC]. Nip was Managing Director of the TRW Turbine Overhaul Business, Singapore in its start-up mode. While with TRW, he has also held positions as operations manager and technical manager of a $60 million investment casting plant manufacturing Directionally Solidified (D.S.) and Single Crystal (SX) castings.

Mr. Singh is very actively involved with the Investment Casting Institute (ICI) of America and has been a Board member for the last 25+ years and serving on numerous committees and currently serving as vice president of the board of directors. Nip has been a key presenter at numerous regional and world conferences on casting. He is also the author of various technical and white papers at Investment Casting Institute (ICI) USA, British Investment Casting Association (BICTA), European Investment Casting Federation (EICF), Japan Investment Casting Association, and China Foundry Association (CFA) and has published numerous technical and other articles throughout industry magazines, periodicals and foundry trade associations.

The worldwide consulting operations of S&A Consulting Group is due to Mr. Singh’s knowledge, expertise, and relationships with his team’s elite-consultants from within the Group, all over the USA and around the world. Mr. Singh holds a Metallurgical Engineering degree and has completed postgraduate work in Business at Case Western Reserve University.

Rita collaborates with individuals to develop skills in Entrepreneurial Leadership at various levels of their career, which are offered as part of an ongoing curriculum, individual coaching sessions, workshops, seminars, lecture series, forums, and conferences. She has excelled as an expert entrepreneur, brilliant executive coach, change maker, leadership strategist, dynamic speaker, author and moderator, mentor, philanthropist, thought leader, consultant, and CPA.

As a senior organizational leader, her work includes organization strategy, strategic marketing, change management, client services, team leadership, corporate communication, and other significant areas for high-level productivity. Rita has the cultural competence to interact with other people that are of diverse cultures and social backgrounds. She has proven her expertise as a high-energy, creative, innovative professional with an outstanding level of achievements; among her acclaim are rebranding and rebuilding an operation void of leadership and enhancing corporate culture into a fully functioning and efficient organization.
