Our in-depth review included the following areas related to personnel administration and Human Resources strategy: Talent acquisition [staffing and recruitment]; Compensation; Employee benefits; Employee relations; Performance management; Succession planning; Training, development, and orientation; Legal and regulatory compliance; Recordkeeping, administration and systems; Payroll; Workers’ compensation.
The Human Resources Operations Review was comprised of the following components:
Conducted a virtual and on-site review of Human Resources processes; On-site and video conference meetings with elected and appointed officials, department managers, and staff.; Collection and review of various documents and records related to the programs managed by Human Resources, including employee benefits, employment, recordkeeping, and others.; Observation of recordkeeping and documentation activities and processes, including those in hard copy and digital formats.
